The light was extraordinary on this evening. So much clarity. So colourful. Wandering the beach in the twilight, I found some nice curves like this one, offset by the only clouds in the sky.
Ailsa Craig is a 340m tall volcanic plug 10 miles off the coast that is the source of floorless blue granite for all the world's curling stones.
