Description
The fascinating zig zag breakwater on the harbour wall of the small fishing village of St Monans, Fife, Scotland.
I shot this in Spring, when the sun rises on north east side of the breakwater. There's a nice contrast between the warmth of the pink sunrise and cool blues in the long shadow of the wall.

Great perspective for showing off the lines of this breakwater, Adam. Beautiful light and tones and I especially like the contrast between the rough textures of the stone and the silky smoothness of the water. In the Best of Minimalism group, features depend on nominations by members; this is one of my two pod's for December 4.

I agree with Su and Mitch! Lovely contrast of warm and cool, as well as soft and sharp. And I definitely want to go there :-). L/F, and one of my PoDs for December 1, 2018.

The light is beautiful and dramatic, with the split between warm and cool colors. Lovely stuff, Adam. This is a pod choice for me in the Best of Minimalism group.

Thanks for your kind feedback Mitch. The contrast in light is what pleased me most too. A great moment when that happens!
